Prowl helps people find live music nearby. We collect only the information needed to run the app, protect the community, and improve reliability.

Information We Collect

Account information may include your email address and authentication provider identifier. Band accounts may add a band name, profile photo, genre tags, and public music or social links.

Location is used to find nearby shows, venues, and user-submitted spots. When a band or venue goes live, the selected broadcast location is shown publicly until the session expires or is ended.

Fan-submitted spots and reports may include the band name, caption, location, report reason, and account identifier needed for moderation and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

We use information to show nearby live music, operate sign-in, verify band and venue claims, moderate reports, prevent spam, and respond to support requests.

Sharing

Live sessions, verified venue details, band pages, and active fan spots are visible to other users. We do not sell personal information.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from the Account screen. Deletion removes your account and associated band, spot, and live-session records handled by our database cascade rules.
